Aporia – Still Lake Valley

This was the third game we created in the Aporia series, and was created on our second semester on the Masters programme in Medialogy. This game was again a continuation of the previous two Aporia games in that sense that the main theme and general concept was kept, however in this version a more concrete game story was written and told using text and audio. At this point we had grown our team to five members.

Opposed to the previous two Aporia games, this game was designed as a multiplayer game where two players start at each end of the level. Each player finds clues and pieces of the story that relates to the location of the other player, and they should therefore communicate through a voice-over-IP system and guide each other through their part of the level and help each other understand the story. The two players will meet at the end and should agree on an important sacrifice.
